Remove the
toilet seat

⚠️

This step can be a little different for every toilet.

1

Unscrew the toilet seat

Pop up or remove the toilet seat caps (located behind the seat) by using a flat-head screwdriver to pry open.

Hold the nut attached to the bolt (located underneath the bowl) in place using pliers or your fingers.

Turn the screwdriver counterclockwise.

If you have a top mounted or quick-release toilet seat

Unscrew and remove the mounts (this process will vary by toilet).

When it's time to reattach the seat, place the mounts ON TOP of the bidet.

If your bolts are less than 2” long

The bidet will add about 1/2” of height to your toilet seat. If your bolts are less than 2” long, you may need to replace them with 3” bolts to reattach the seat.
